This Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene course is designed to help anyone who handles, prepares or serves food in the food industry, understand their legal responsibilities and fully comply with current UK legislation. By law, all food handlers must have knowledge, understanding of the essential principles of food hygiene and know how to work safely and also to protect the food they serve from contamination.
This course will enable you to learn about the impact of food-borne illnesses, food safety hazards and contamination, food preparation and preservation, storage and temperature control as well as good hygiene practice and controls based upon awareness of food safety management systems.
